Dogs are amazing, intelligent, furry little love machines. Too many of these love machines end up in rescue organizations, no kill shelters, and even kill shelters. It is a good thing to rescue a dog from one of these situations. It does unfortunately put you, the owner, at a disadvantage. It is very rare to get much of a history on a dog that is being rescued.

All too often, goodhearted owners bring home rescued dogs to find that their new best friend has more issues than they can deal with. A lot of times these dogs end up right back where they started from.

EQuality Dog Training can help you with your “rescued” family member. It is not uncommon for a dog that has been rescued to be exceptionally quiet and well behaved for the first several weeks. Then, once they begin to relax and trust that they are going to stay, a dog can begin to show its true colors. Suddenly the perfect dog is chewing prized possessions, destroying furniture, jumping on people, and just generally creating mayhem! It is at this point, you the new owner, realize why this dog ended up at the shelter in the first place.

Don’t despair! EQuality Dog Training can help you.

Is Fido jumping on people when they come home? Knocking the kids down?

Not a problem!

Is Fido in eliminating in a manner that upsets you, for example, indoors?

Not a problem!

Is Fido snacking on your Jimmy Choo shoes?

Not a problem!

Before you despair, give us a call. EQuality Dog Training has never met a dog that gave up on its owner. We’ll help you to return the favor.
